But of course, going bangkok was a DAMN HUGE opportunity cost okay, because my dad booked the bangkok trip tickets really early (around prelim 1 period) and suddenly a few days later, i receive an email regarding the NMA Finland exchange programme trip for around 10 days? (i don't really remember) My dad went Finland before (his dslr camera spoilt right after he came back from Finland) and thus he keep persuading me to join the Finland trip. I still remember him saying "your school finland trip so cheap,go lah! last time papa go need more than $3000 leh, very rare chance,if you dont go you will confirm regret one". He told me he is willing to cancel my bangkok trip ticket,i was so tempted but in the end, i still chose Bangkok. My reasons were simply because:
1) I know the expenditure at Finland is going to cost a huge sum, going Bangkok is so much cheaper and i love shopping so much. If i have to give up my shopping trip just for Finland, its not really worth it?
2) The trip to Bangkok was already booked, cancelling it would only mean that we are throwing money into the sea
3) My dad will pay for everything i buy in Bangkok but in Finland, who is there to help me when i don't have sufficient money?
This isn't my first time going bangkok, its like my fourth time going, two times were when i am really young and another time was in 2009. As usual, everything there cost really cheap. I bought denim high waist shorts at chatuchak for only SGD$2 please, flats for ony $4 and velvet crop top for $4 and the list goes on. Material may not be of outstanding kind but come on,the clothes selling in bugis street aren't of good quality either. Life is really too short to wear expensive and branded clothes. I mean seriously, authenticity is only something you and yourself know, who the hell give a damn if you say "Hey this is real LV",people will probably be like "obnoxious bitch" and at least for me,i will be like "nobody give a damn haha" and roll my eyes. I am not totally against branded goods though,i own a branded wrsitlet and a handbag but that were gifts from my aunt. My point is that if you want to buy those "atas" stuffs,Bangkok is not for you,go Hong Kong instead haha. Food wise,i guess there is a price creep? It cost slightly more expensive compared to the past few years but still cheaper than local food.
My greatest highlight of this trip was obviously the visit to Siriraj medical museum. Surprised i didn't mention anything about the well-known Thai massage? Yea the truth is..i am afraid of ticklishness. Photography is forbidden in the Siriraj medical museum but heck it,i manage to took 4 photographs with my instagram, too lazy to transfer to my computer so i will just take a few from the internet and post it here.

For the above images, credits goes to google images. Basically, the Siriraj medical musuem display exhibits relating to pathology, forensic medicine, parasitology and anatomy,in layman's terms, it stores preserved corpses and the babies preserved here are either stillborn or dead shortly after birth. There are also displays of organs infected by various diseases. It cost on 40฿ (spproximately $1.60) to enter the small museum. For the people who love the human anotomy like me,i would reccommend you to go and since its so cheap, don't be a wuss,no harm paying that $1.60 to gain an experience.
Its not easy to reach the musuem because most of the tour guide books don't include it in the content and it is not easy to reach the place so i suggest you to do your homework beforehand if you would like to go. While trying to go to the musuem,my family and i even landed at some mortuary hahah,it freaked my mom out and she went nagging at me for bringing my family to such places.
So much of elabrotaion,i guess its time for photos? Massive collection of pictures ahead, please be prepared to keep refreshing your browser. I have yet to upload these photos to my facebook,i have about 400+ of them but i will only post about 50 here but still,it is going to lag your browser. In fact i took about 1000 photos at bangkok for the 5 days but i deleted more than half of it because blurry photos, over or under exposed photos irritate the hell out of me.
All the photos below are non-edited one,may not be fantastic shots. Don't judge me:

You have to try their street satay meat, damn nice and cheap,in love with the parson's nose. For the hygiene freak aka the freaking losers, maybe you can drop the idea of it. HAH.

A few shots of my favourites in the wax museum. It cost 800 baht (around $32) for an entry but that day was the king birthday so there is a promotion of 1 for 1.

Must try the Thai famous red tea, such a huge ass cup for less than sgd$2. With or without milk, equally nice.

Really cute and tiny kitten i saw in a temple..compared to the giant mom,it is nothing in this universe haha!
Expensive pomegranate drink for sgd$2

Ohyah if you go chatuchak, don't act brave and shop just like that please, the sun is damn scorching, grab a popsicle or some cold drinks along the way. Popsicle is 5baht or 3 baht only.

Adorable puppies, how i wish to dognap all of them back to SG but kidnapping is against the Singapore law lol.

My father is lame enough to drag me and my mom along to watch this show (no entry fee is needed). Just look at that please! We were the only 3 audiences hahahah!
